Encounter is a solo exhibition by Ji Yongil,presented as part of the 13th Youngeun Artist Project.The exhibition focuses on Ji’s recent works,in which he explores the conventional sequence of making a painting by deliberately scrambling and reordering its process.Rather than allowing each stage to disappear beneath the next, Ji leaves the traces of each moment visible on the surface. The layers record the gestures, decisions, and movements that have accumulated throughout the process of making.
