Body Noise:Through Sonic Perception

Body Noise:Through Sonic Perception begins with artist Park Dongwon’s interest in the sounds of non-human beings. Rather than viewing the sounds of familiar insects—such as dragonflies, cicadas, mosquitoes, and bees—as abstract phenomena, the artist approaches them as movements produced by physical bodies with volume and presence. Through this perspective, new relationships emerge, revealing how different bodies interact within environments where human activities both affect and are affected by the auditory behaviors of other species.
